La televisión pública francesa trasmitirá el sábado en directo un gran concierto para recoger fondos destinados a la reconstrucción de la catedral Notre Dame de París, tras el incendio que la devastó parcialmente el pasado lunes 15 de abril.

El evento musical reunirá a grandes artistas, anunció el martes la cadena France 2 en un comunicado sin confirmar nombres.

El lunes un incendio aparentemente accidental arrasó dos tercios del techo de la catedral gótica y su emblemática aguja de 93 metros, sumiendo a Francia en un estado de conmoción nacional.

Las donaciones de empresas y millonarios franceses para financiar la reconstrucción de la catedral ya supera los 600 millones de euros (680 millones de dólares).

La empresa francesa de cosméticos, L’Oréal, dará 200 millones de euros, suma que se añade a los 200 millones donados por el grupo LVMH y los 100 millones prometidos respectivamente por la familia Pinault y la empresa petrolera Total.
