El pasado 28 de septiembre, China inauguró el Puente del Gran Cañón de Huajiang, el más alto del mundo.
La estructura se encuentra en la provincia montañosa de Guizhou y se eleva 625 metros sobre el río Beipan, superando incluso la altura de la Torre Eiffel.

Con una longitud total de 2.980 metros y un tramo principal de 1.420 metros, el puente es una muestra impresionante de ingeniería moderna.
Antes de su apertura, el trayecto que atraviesa el cañón tomaba, aproximadamente, dos horas en carro debido a factores como curvas, pendientes y otros obstáculos geográficos.

Ahora, según confirmó a la prensa, Zhan Yin, jefe del Departamento de Transporte provincial, se puede recorrer en apenas dos minutos, lo que ha sorprendido a nivel mundial.
Para garantizar su seguridad, la estructura fue probada con 96 vehículos en diferentes puntos del puente, asegurando su resistencia y estabilidad.

La construcción comenzó en 2022 y tomó tres años completarla, enfrentando numerosos retos técnicos y logísticos.
El puente no solo cumple funciones de transporte, sino que también se ha convertido en un atractivo turístico.
